#302—IRIS-2, PERSONALITY IRIDOLOGY (textbook)
The long-anticipated Iris-2 (Personality Iridology) textbook was in planning and development for many years. We had mentioned it to Eyology students long after having taken an early introductory weekend class by Rayid’s founder, Denny Johnson. Altho we knew intuitively the art and science was valid, we had to “check it out”, test it in the fire of clinical experience.
Knowing certain characteristics were missing, and other aspects were needing clarification, we kept finding more material we felt was crucial to add—especially personality’s behavioral aspect as found within the Wisdom Teaching of Adi Da Samraj. As suggested, our initial consideration on this subject was based on Denny’s original “Rayid©” work.
This Iris-2 treatise, whose cover you see here, not only provides a clear and simple explanation of the basic material for the five Iris-2 categories, it compares and develops the connection with the three egoic Strategies originated by Avatar Adi Da Samraj (Vitals, Peculiars, and Solids).
After much comparison with the realities of patient data, field research and study on many aspects of personality, we were able to extend the personality map Areas from Rayid’s© original 46 to the current 60. Our collected material also enabled the elaboration, redefining, and expansion of data on Structure, Polarity, Dominance, Rings, and Areas—and so much more.
More importantly, this book shows how to recognize personality—in a person’s words, gestures and other behavioral activities as well as in the eyes. It describes how to rightly understand personality as an ego strategy, and how to identify and move beyond infantile, childish and adolescent behavior patterns that continually cause suffering in ourselves and in everyone around us.
Also, even more significantly (perhaps far more so), it even points to how to transcend personality characteristics that commonly complicate and trouble our lives, the lives of our loved ones, and everyone with whom we come into contact. Chinese traditional and other modern data on the relationship between body organs and emotions is included as well as several other practical and useful related charts and essays.
Fully illustrated and laden with crisp color images, “the Iris-2 manual” sets a high mark in the field of Personality Iridology. This book is the “public” version from which the Personality Iridology Student Handbook that accompanies the DVD Course—and the Course itself—were developed. Finally, we consider IRIS-2, Personality Iridology, one of our very finest products.
